Cask Ale Week 22nd September - 2nd October

It's Cask Ale Week!

'Cask Ale Week is an annual celebration of Britain’s national drink – cask beer! It’s an opportunity for pubs and breweries to get involved and encourage their customers to try and promote real ale by organising events and activities throughout the week. Formed in the early noughties by Cask Marque, Cask Ale Week is supported by the major trade organisations, brewers & pub groups as well as The Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA).' - Cask Ale Week Website

To celebrate Cask Ale Week - Here are our Cask Ales!

Double Drop - 3.7%

Our signature beer and a modern classic bitter, from the heart of Hampshire. Double drop brewed for that perfect finish. This is our original Flack’s recipe and the brew that started it all. A beautifully balanced session ale with the full flavour of Maris Otter malt and the floral bitter citrus notes of Sovereign hops. Brewed to perfection using our special double drop brewing process, which is our way of ensuring our beers always taste better.

Romsey Gold - 4.0% Cask - 4.5% Bottle

Our award winning golden ale, a very drinkable and refreshing lazy day session beer. This is a crisp, refreshing ale with the hoppy zest and aromas of English Cascade balanced by the soft fruits and gentle hop character from Goldings and First Gold. Maris Otter malt completes the trinity. Brewed to perfection using our special double drop brewing process, which is our way of ensuring our beers always taste better.

Catcher Pale Ale - 4.4%

Catcher is a bright, copper pale ale with a crisp initial bitterness, followed by a sweet, caramel maltiness and a dry hoppy finish. Marls Otter malt creates  the rich body whilst balance is achieved by using a unique blend of hop varieties: English Goldings provides soul; American Columbus and Simcoe make up character; New Zealand Rakau adds personality. Brewed using a special double drop brewing process, which is our way of ensuring our beers always taste better.

Hedge Hop - 4.9%

Deep malt flavour with a soft Mouthfeel. Spiciness and fruits from Challenger, Pilot and English Cascade hops. Originally brewed to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Maris Otter barley harvest. From field to bottle this ale is crafted to celebrate the iconic Maris Otter barley variety as well as the combined skills of the farmer, maltster and brewer so we urge you to enjoy the results of our hard work.
