One Off Brew's

We have seasonal brews which you may be familiar to, such as Wolfie T - 4.5%, Beggars Gold - 4.0% and Flack's Cracker - 4.4% that come out each year to suit the season. We also have seasonal brews that make an occasional appearance here at the Taproom such as Hedge Hop - 4.9%, Catcher Pale Ale - 4.4% and Black Jack Porter - 4.6%, one of which will always be in the Taproom long with our permanent Brews, Romsey Gold - 4.0% and our Original, Double Drop - 3.7%.
Each month, our Brewers, here at Flack's brew a one-off beer that is different to our selection. Previously, we have had Raspberry Blonde Ales, Black Jack Orange Porter, Black Jack Raspberry Porter, The Jubilee Hoppy and Glorious ale, Sunshine Session IPA, Beggars Gold and many more. 

What is a one-off Brew?

A one-off brew is a beer that is brewed once with no plan to brew it again. Here at Flack's, we brew a certain amount of one-off beer, cask or keg it and let it sell through trade and our Taproom, once it is gone, it is gone! 

Brew of the Month

November - Red Rye Pale Ale - 4.1%

For the month of November, we have the NEW one-off brew - Red Rye Pale Ale - This full-bodied malt-forward dark red autumnal ale, showcasing rye's sweet biscuit and caramel flavours, with a hint of spicy citrus, berries and subtle liquorice.

October: Wolfie T - 4.5%

A rich chestnut brown with a glorious spicy aroma. Toasted malt flavours complemented by Challenger, Bramling Cross and Golding hops giving a deep warm rounded bitter sweet finish.
Our seasonal, Wolfie T is available throughout October each year. Keep an eye out on our socials for his next appearance.

September - Black Jack Porter - 4.6%

Initial sweetness with rich aromas of toasted malt followed by a good hop aroma from the classic English combination of Goldings and Fuggles ending with a hazel nut finish.

August - Sunshine Session IPA - 3.8%

A Hop forward, light and easy to drink session IPA with juicy tropical flavours of peach, passion fruit and pineapple.

July - Beggar's Gold - 4.0%

A crisp and refreshing golden ale to celebrate the summer, with a gentle hop character and a hint of raspberry.

 

June - Hoppy & Glorious - 4.2%

This happy combination of commonwealth hops, underpinned by glorious Sovereign, with Harlequin and Wai-iti providing a subtle tropical fruitiness worthy of the platinum celebrations.
